LG is ready to showcase its latest 48-inch OLED 4K display in CES 2021 that is capable of changing from curved to the flat screen which is simply an awesome feature. Additionally, there are no separate speakers required for listening to the sound because the sound will come from the screen itself.
The CSO technology lets the OLED display to vibrate and produce sound without the requirement of the speakers. Hence, with this paper-like screen, you watch online content, play games, stream online and get a vivid experience.
The thin sized display can easily be switched from flat to curve with a radius of up to 1,000mm. Moreover, this screen is capable of giving a uniform viewing experience right from the middle to the edges. The response time of the screen is 0.2 milliseconds and has a refresh rate of 120 GHz.
Earlier the company launched many curved screens but it was not of much success so, this time LG has given both options in a single screen that too with CSO technology which is one of the latest technologies.
The OLED screen is also transparent which further enhances the viewing experience and the user would get an immersive experience. Additionally, this screen can automatically adjust itself to show content in different screen ratios without impacting the image quality.
The senior Vice President and Head of Commercial Business Unit at LG display, Jong-sun Park said that the transparent OLED display technology would maximize the advantages of OLED which would make it suitable for use in many scenarios like stores, shopping malls, architectural interiors, daily lives, autonomous vehicles, subway trains and aircraft.
He further said that it will further grow into a next-generation display that would change the existing display paradigm.
