It was not possible earlier as people had to click on the business profile page to see complete catalog details and now a prominent shopping button with a storefront look is available to directly browse products and services and even chat and enquire about the item with the seller with just one click.
This is not beneficial for the buyers but also for the sellers who would be able to sell their products to a larger audience. With the WhatsApp payment feature, you can pay directly to the seller and get the product delivered at your doorstep without any hassle.
There are about 175 million people use the WhatsApp message service to send and receive their important messages and files and there are about 40 million people who check the business catalog every month which means that there is a great scope for doing business on a mobile platforms.
In India only there are about 3 million people who check the business catalog each month. Among 3 million, 7% are adults who are promising customers to the businesses.
