This is a SE edition model which means that you can expect faster processing speed and a lag-free multitasking experience. It may not be right to call it a gaming mobile as there is no feature like cooling technology because while playing games sometimes the mobile gets heated up and it becomes uncomfortable for the user to keep playing the game. Anyways the 8GB RAM supports working on heavy apps and also supports easy playing of games; you cannot rely on it as a gaming mobile.
As we say that everything has some pros and some cons and this 5G mobile also has some merits and demerits. To start with we would like to say that the major plus point is the latest Android 12 OS along with a powerful Snapdragon Octa-Core processor with better quality of chipset as compared to the previous realme 9 or realme 9 prime version. The primary camera setup is good but again it’s not one of the best as the main camera itself is just 48MP whereas there are lots of 5G mobiles that offer high-powered cameras in a similar price range. Also, the front camera is decent but it would be better if the lens could be more as there might be some users who would like it to be more powerful to post HD photos and videos on their social media accounts.
The 5000mAh battery is good enough to work for long hours and supported with 30W fast charging which is a normal thing that you mostly get in any other mobile of the same price. The screen size of 6.6.-inch is also good for binging and has a high refresh rate of 144Hz which also makes it comfortable to work with one hand. The fingerprint sensor works well and the face unlock feature is an added advantage to the users as it saves it from unauthorized access. Furthermore, there is also a USB Type-C port for fast data transfer and fast charging.
Now, when we talk about the cons or demerits of realme 9 SE 5G then the major drawback is the non-availability of NFC connectivity and there are some small features that it lacks that there as no wireless charging, Infrared connectivity, not water/dust resistance and reverse charging.
The price is too high just for a 5G connectivity and latest Android OS as there are no special features that keep it ahead of other 5G mobiles as there are many other mobiles at the same price that offers a better camera and other specs including a new feature Dynamic RAM that automatically uses the available space to while working on heavy apps or games.
Overall, it’s a decent 5G smartphone but not one of the best options in case you are looking to upgrade your existing mobile at this price which is definitely not mid-price. So, if you are ready to shell out $300 for a 48MP triple primary camera then it is a good choice.
