Oppo A57 Review

The unmatched design with a glowing look gives it a unique look also the side-mounted fingerprint sensor further enhances its look. The major highlight is the 4G mobile is the powerful primary camera and latest operating system. When looked at from the reasonable price of this mobile the advantages seem to be more as compared to the disadvantages or features that it lacks. It is not a 5G mobile but has a dedicated micro SD card slot to use 2 SIM cards along with an SD card.

To start with the positive points we would like to start with the impressive 6.56-inch immersive and bright LCD screen that is perfect for online as well offline binging. It could also be best for students or those who are looking for another mobile for additional mobile numbers. The screen size is good but the only problem is that it is not LED but LCD which means that it will give glare when looked at from certain angles. Furthermore, the battery backup of 5000mAh is supported by 33W fast charging means that it will work for long hours even during heavy usage. Also, the internal memory of 64GB is quite good and in case the user finds it less the option to use micro SD can help in extending it for up to 1TB.

It is also equipped with a RAM expansion option to support 4GB RAM which means that it automatically uses the idle ROM, especially when working on heavy applications or opening multiple apps at the same time. Another positive is the lightweight nature of this mobile which makes it easier to handle with one hand.

Now when we talk about the disadvantages or cons then it lacks the removable battery functionality like most the other smartphones. It will also not be right to expect wireless charging which is obviously not available in this price range. Moreover, it also does not have FM Radio and Infrared connectivity and the reverses charging feature is not being provided in this 4G mobile of Oppo. The front camera is also average and is not good for capturing HD selfie shots or videos. Hence, it is good for clicking HD photos and videos with a 50MP primary camera but not suitable for selfie lovers.

It also lacks Gorilla screen protection or there is no mention of IP rating which means that it is not water or dust resistant.

Overall, it’s a decent 4G mobile which could prove to be a good option for those who are looking for an affordable mobile without the need of using 5G connectivity. Maybe after some time, the user might start feeling that it would have been better if this mobile had the 5G connectivity which could be the reason to replace it again. Otherwise, it has almost all sorts of connectivity and sensors which are required in any smartphone to work fine. The major disadvantage of the Oppo A57 is the average front camera which is not much powerful and limited 64GB internal memory even with the option to use the SD card. The RAM of 4GB is also not enough for playing heavy games so, it is definitely suitable for running heavy applications otherwise the user will face lots of lag.

There are many better options available in the price range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 14,000 with a more powerful camera setup and more RAM along with other latest features that Oppo A57 majorly lacks.
