Motorola G62 Review

The bezel’s design with punch hole screen gives it a unique look and the 5G connectivity is another additional merit at such a price point which neither too expensive nor too cheap. Motorola G series mobiles have AMOLED screens but it in Moto G62 IPS LCD screen is a significant drawback. To start with the pros of then its configuration is latest along with all the connectivity options along with all sorts of sensors which are a must in any smartphone. An 8GB RAM size is perfect for working on heavy Apps or playing games smoothly but it does not mean that it’s a gaming mobile as there are no dedicated cooling features provided to keep the temperature in control which usually increases at the time of playing games for long hours. Furthermore, the internal memory of 128GB is quite good and proves to be enough for storing files and data. However, the space can be further expanded by using a micro SD card.

So far it is not clear how much the maximum size can be increased. The HD triple primary camera setup is commendable and lets the user click crisp and clear HD photos and videos with the support of LED light during the night. The front camera of 16MP is average and not suitable for those who like clicking selfie shots and videos.

It also has a Hybrid SIM slot which means that only one SIM can be used along with a micro SD card. The battery of 500mAh is quite powerful but the fast charging is just 15W which could have been better. Also, it does not support reverse charging or wireless charging which is not a major drawback. Another drawback of the Moto G62 is that it’s not water or dust-resistant but spill-resistant. Overall, it’s a good option for those looking for a branded 5G smartphone at a reasonable price along with a good camera, battery backup, and stylish look.
