Instagram has launched its latest version which means that old users will not be able to enjoy new features without downloading or updating the latest Instagram App.
To update Instagram App and start enjoying the latest features you can follow below easy steps!
Step 1: Open the App store
Step 2: Click on the search icon and type Instagram
Step 3: Go through the results if and update the App. In case the App is already updated then it will show the message “Open” or if the App is an old one then it will display the message “Update”

With the latest updated Insta App, users can instantly pin posts on the top of Igrid. This feature was not there earlier but other social App like Twitter and TikTok already has this option.
Story creation without cuts
It is another handy feature that Instagram has enrolled in the latest. It basically allows story creation of up to 60 seconds without any cuts. Earlier there used to be cut after 15 seconds hence it has made the story creation smoother and created long stories along with the addition of links, tags, locations and text.
New Stats
The users can now see the stats such as the number of clicks, visitor location, and duration of video being watched. It would also show how frequently have interacted with the account in past along with post likes and other content.
Longer duration reels with editing
Instagram reels are no longer restricted to 15 seconds to a minute as more features have been added to make them more entertaining the user can now add music of their choice and also make adjustments to the music. Voiceover feature to add commentary or voice in the reel along with text addition. Doodles can also be added in the reels. Also, stickers, effects and timers can be used in the reels.
Joint posts
There is another interesting feature introduced in the latest update i.e. creation of joint posts with the collaborator. By doing so the same reel would be on both the collaborator as well the user profile.
Visual reply
Reels visual reply is an additional feature that allows the user to reply through videos in the comments.
Embedment of profile
Now the user can embed the complete Instagram profile including photos and videos which was not possible earlier.
Playback stories
With the latest Instagram update, the users can now re-share their popular stories and revive the old content.
Instagram map
Similar to Google Maps users can now also use this feature to search for a particular business or location by staying inside the App.
Creator mode
Any account having more than 10,000 followers would get a dedicated creator mode to check the stats in deep along with marketing tips to further make the content popular with the use of a professional dashboard.
